Very Merry Christmas Market 2021

Spreading Christmas cheer while raising funds for paediatric brain cancer.

Wednesday December 1 was our Very Merry Christmas Market, held at St Andrew’s Church gardens, in Brighton.

This year the market was split into two sessions: 9am-2pm and 5pm-8pm. During the day shoppers enjoyed music from the Brighton Grammar School Choir, our very popular produce, decorations, gift items and our silent auction, along with brekkie burgers from The Royale Brothers and coffee cart from Limoncello.

Keeping to tradition we had plenty of our old favourites in our produce section, boasting a full range of sweets, sauces, and baking delights. Including lemon cordial, gingerbread houses, cookies in a jar, hot sauce, and BBQ sauce. All lovingly made by our amazing Elf Helper volunteers.

This year we had charity partners selling their goods, including T.House, Metalbird, Bay Road Nursery, Prene, Skwosh and more.

The afternoon thunderstorms and torrential rain didn’t damper the Christmas spirit, we moved under cover of the church, where an array of artists presented their work while sipping bubbles from Emperor Champagne and browsing giftware and food items.

We’re incredibly thankful for all the supporters who supported our foundation, and an extra big-hearted thanks to our generous Elf Helpers who volunteered their time and talent.

The 2021 Very Merry Christmas Market was a wonderful success. We’re still tallying the numbers, but so far at least $70,000 was raised for kids with brain cancer – and that’s the best Christmas gift we could ever ask for.
