There’s something special in the water

Skimming the waves and powered by the winds of the Indian Ocean is ‘The Connor Dawes’.
This is another adventurous tale from the Canta family and their incredible support for the RCD Fund.

Dan Canta is in the throws of training to swim across the English Channel. This is no small feat for the driven and focused teenager (more about that here). In the meantime, Dan will compete with Marcus Sill in the Sailing World Championships in Busselton, WA between the 2nd and 10th of January.

The boat is a Tasar and Dan honoured Connor by naming the boat after him, another generous gesture from Dan and the Canta family.

Connor will be one of over 120 boats from all over the world and Dan’s competitors have been sailing for twice as long as Dan has been alive. Destined to be a great learning experience and adventure, we wish you god speed.

Aeternum Fortis Dan!
