Lisa McCune shines bright as Dancing With The Stars champion!

The talented Robert Connor Dawes ambassador, actress and singer claimed the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, defeating fellow finalist Samantha Jade in a dazzling finale.

“It really was unexpected,” McCune tells 7NEWS.com.au of the win.

In particular, the actress is thrilled for her dancing partner Ian Waite who wins the Mirrorball Trophy for the first time.

The win comes after months of tough work, a challenge McCune was surprised to find was more difficult than she first assumed.

As the winner, Lisa was awarded $20,000 to her two chosen charities, and we were proud to be one of them!
