PhD Scholarship: Another brain on the job

We were very pleased Prof Terry Johns was able to attend and accept $25 000 that will go towards a PhD pediatric brain tumour researcher. As our most significant contribution to the battle against brain tumours so far, this scholarship will involve supporting a student through a three year program at the Brain Cancer Discovery Collaborative (BCDC).

The most exciting part of contributing in the Research area is what we’re hearing from all the dedicated and talented researchers. They are all in consensus that this is most exciting time ever in brain tumour research because so many are on the verge of significant breakthroughs. Through your support of brain matters, this scholarship means there’s another brain working on the puzzle and can be a vital part in reaching this tipping point. Thank you.
