Liz’s Christmas Message

A Very Merry Christmas from all of us at the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation!

In 2022 we celebrated our 10th year investing in impactful projects and bringing our paediatric brain cancer community together here in Australia and across the globe.

It has been a joy witnessing our community engaging in our events in memory of Connor and other young people affected by brain cancer. Events like Connor’s Run- this year you helped raise over $2 million, bringing our 10 year Connor’s Run total close to $10 million!

Your awesome support means we can continue world-class testing and promising clinical trials, and fund even more research and researchers.

Last week we announced the exciting news that our initiative, the AIM BRAIN Project was granted NATA accreditation, read more about that development HERE

In the US, discoveries from our 2020 CERN & Robert Connor Dawes Pediatric Fellowship, with Dr. Chan Chung at the University of Michigan, were instrumental in helping to win an esteemed $3 million R01 grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI). Read more HERE

You are a gift and cause for Merriment all year round. You make our every day Bright, believing in and supporting our efforts to change the odds for young people and their families impacted by brain cancer. We wish you and your family a festive and happy holiday season.

Aeternum Fortis,
Liz Dawes (OAM)
