Inaugural Connor’s Golf Classic
What an un-fore-gettable day! Thank you to all of our golfers, volunteers, and sponsors for making our inaugural Connor’s Golf Classic a truly spectacular event.
We are still tallying the funds, but so far we are looking at over $80,000 raised for young people with brain cancer. What an awesome effort!
A very special thanks to Victoria Golf Club for hosting us, going above and beyond to make sure the day ran smoothly. Congratulations to our winning team: TLS Transport- Paul Vawdrey, Corey McKernan, Darren Goss and Jared Rivers, with a combined stableford score of 111.
During dinner, our Legacy Ambassador Virginia beautifully and generously shared her personal story about her daughter Pippa’s fight with brain cancer, we are so grateful. We were also blown away by the generosity of Doug Painter and his impromptu ‘nothing’ auction that raised an additional $8,000.
The event wouldn’t be possible without the awesome support of our community and sponsors: Drummond Golf, Titleist, LCI, East Pole and Suzuki. Unfortunately no one got a hole-in-one, but a few came very close.
