Connor’s Erg x Stomping Ground Challenge

On Sunday, February 18 at Morris Moore Moorabbin, 90 participants in 15 teams rowed their hearts out for kids with brain cancer in our inaugural Stomping Ground x Connor’s Erg Challenge.

Teams had 120 minutes to collectively row as far as possible for the 120 children under 12 diagnosed with brain cancer in Australia each year. RCD Ambassador and gold medallist Olympic Rower James Tomkins joined the fray, lending his strength and enthusiasm to the One Fitness Brighton team.

Competition was fierce, but The Red Bluffers from Crossfit Red Bluff took out the Connor’s Cup and were the winners on the day, rowing a total of 36.99km.

We were blown away with the total raised on the day, a whopping $30,000, contributing to the 2024 FUNdraising total of $121,000+ USD ($181,000+ AUD).

A special thanks to Stomping Ground and Morris Moore for supporting the event, to our MC on the day Des, and to the Connor’s Erg Major Sponsors Hyundai Help For Kids and Honcho.

We look forward to next year’s event!
