Good mates do good

Ben Stonier, one of Connor’s mates, has been awarded Coles Sandringham Local Community Hero for his work with the RCD Fund.

As part of the supermarket’s national competition to reward generous community driven employees, Ben has been awarded title of Local Community Hero. Continuing Coles’ support of the RCD Fund’s annual Connor’s Run event, the local store has been taken over this week by a giant brain display. With a simple message to do as Ben does and support brain matters, shoppers are able to symbolically ‘fill in the gaps in brain tumour research’ by buying a little brainheart cell to put up on the window.

The support has been massive with over $2000 being donated and hundreds of hearts going up on the wall.
