Seven Ways to Stay Motivated During Lockdown
Well, Victoria here we are again, another lockdown. We’ve done it before and we can do it again. We’ve come up with some fun and productive ways to get through the latest lockdown.
1. Register for Connor’s Run
Give yourself something to look forward to! Connor’s Run is about finding your awesomeness, celebrating courage and Connor, and this year is double the fun! Our much-loved Connor’s Run one day event will be returning to Melbourne on Sunday 12 September – AND – as ‘Your Way Any Day’ for the whole month of September, anywhere in the world.
Remember you don’t have to RUN, you can ride, walk, skip or jump. We always guarantee it’ll be #morefunthanrun
Register at www.connorsrun.com
2. Play birdbrain (extended until June 4th)
Play birdbrain during the month of May and each time you play our awesome sponsor, Sharpie will donate $1 (up to $10 per player) to us on your behalf. Answer three fun trivia questions over three rounds – whether you get 0 or all correct, Sharpie will still donate. It’s a win-win!
3. Stay cosy and rug up with some RCD merch
Relax at home in our super comfy Aeternum Fortis Hoodie, or grab one of our awesome #beanies4braincancer for your daily walk. Shop goods that do good! RCD online store
4. Start your Connor’s Run training
Use your two hours of freedom to feel good! Whether you’re running, walking or riding your bike, we guarantee you’ll feel so much better for it.
5. Join Connor’s Book Club
Reading is one way to get through lockdown. Check out our Connor’s Book Club Group on Facebook and discuss some awesome books with likeminded book lovers: https://www.facebook.com/groups/connorsbookclub
6. Go Grey in May activities
We have some fun activities for the young (and the young at heart) Check out our Cake Recipe, print out our activity sheet and old school chatterbox See all of our Go Grey in May resources here
7. FREE yoga
On Saturday May 8th we were fortunate enough to have Connor’s yoga teacher Patricia take a small group through a one hour mindful and relaxing morning of Yoga on the Hampton Beach Foreshore.
Luckily we recorded the session and we thought it was the perfect time to share it.
