STEP 1: REGISTER
Sign up as a school, workplace or individual. Decide on a date and time, and we’ll help you get the ball rolling.

STEP 2: START BRAINSTORMING

There are so many ways to Go Grey. Start simple with a grey casual clothes day (who doesn’t love spending all day in their comfy greys?) and step it up with an activity that brings big hearts together for a great cause.

STEP 3: MAKE YOUR IMPACT

Whether you’d like to fundraise through donations, selling merchandise, an online auction or raffle, every little bit counts. However you choose to Go Grey will have a huge impact, and most importantly – help save lives.

GO GREY

YOUR WAY

Going Grey is about celebrating the brains that make us who we are, all while supporting kids and their families affected by brain cancer. Big or small, there are SO many ways to get your Grey on:

EAT

Host a morning tea or invite your friends to a dinner party.

PLAY

Use your grey matter for good with a brainy challenge! Start a Rubik’s cube challenge, a video game tournament or a trivia night.

MOVE

Give your endorphins a boost with an activity that makes your brain happy! Wear your comfy greys and host a yoga session, or your own backyard olympics.

Why Go Grey In May?

We believe the brain is where the heart lives and an attack on it, is an attack on who we are. This is why brain tumours are so devastating.

Robert ‘Connor’ Dawes was the victim of such an attack. For 16 months Connor battled a brain tumour, but at just 18-years-old, lost his fight.

This is why we’re going grey in the month of May, to celebrate the brains that make us who we are, care for them and stimulate them all while raising money for paediatric brain cancer – the #1 cancer killer of young people.

CASUAL CLOTHES DAY

Go Grey in May Day is officially the comfiest day of the year! So throw on your trackies and host a very cosy casual clothes day to raise extra funds for paediatric brain cancer research. The official RCD Foundation Casual Clothes Day is Friday May 28th. But you can do it any day you choose!

Play birdbrain during the month of May, and each time our generous partner, Sharpie will contribute $1 to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation’s brain matters projects. Answer three fun trivia questions over three category rounds, and whether you get 0 or all correct, Sharpie will donate to us on your behalf. It’s a win-win!

Add it to your calendar so you don’t forget to play in May!
