Childhood Brain Cancer Awareness Day Spotlight: Zoe Stanley

Monday, 26 September is the fourth annual Childhood Brain Cancer Awareness Day. Each year a different tumour type is highlighted, this year is high grade glioma (HGG).

Our beautiful Legacy Ambassador Zoe Stanley tragically passed away from a glioblastoma multiforme tumour, a type of HGG.
In March 2017, 5-year-old Zoe Stanley was diagnosed with a rare and incurable giant cell glioblastoma multiforme tumour. Zoe was a joyful, artistic, and brave little girl who loved everything unicorns, butterflies, and rainbows.
Just prior to Christmas  2017, just nine months after diagnosis, Zoe lost her fight with brain cancer. Her family vowed to help others facing the same battle, and created Zoe’s Fight in her honour.
This year Zoe’s Connor’s Run team have raised over $15,000 and these funds will go towards a new project that will be announced soon.
